- 1 lb large prawns, deveined and peeled
1/4 cup Croatian extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1-2 red serrano chile peppers, diced
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Preheat the barbecue to medium-high heat.
In a large bowl, mix together the olive oil, chopped parsley, chili flakes, smoked paprika, diced red serrano chile peppers, salt, and black pepper.
Add the prawns to the bowl and toss until they are fully coated with the mixture.
Optional: Skewer the prawns onto metal or wooden skewers (if using wooden skewers, make sure to soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning).
Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until the prawns are pink and slightly charred.
Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
